Is Powerpoint 97 compatable with Powerpoint 03?

H

Henry

I am helping a student do a project, and he wants to save a presentation on
Powerpoint 97 and run it on Powerpoint 2003. Is this possible? Will there
be any difficulties with this?

Thank you.

Not a problem, just save as a PowerPoint Presentation, and it will run fine
under 2003

Just make sure that you have the latest Service Pack (and other related updates) for Microsoft PowerPoint
2003.

To check for Microsoft Office and/or Microsoft PowerPoint updates (i.e. service pack updates) for your
version, use any one of the methods I have noted below:

A) In Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, click Help -> Check for Updates

B) Go to
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx
and click the "Check for Updates" link.

C) Go to
http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/
and click the "Express" button.
