Is Publisher a part of Office2003Pro in educational pack?

I am looking to see if it's supposed to be a part of the software (it is in
the non-educational versions) but received one piece of info to indicate that
it's not included. Is there a reasonable upgrade to add it if it's not
included? Very frustated!

Thank you so much for the quick response. My CD says "Office XP
Professional" and is the Academic Edition. The version is 2002.

OK - I think you helped me answer my own question. I have a desktop and a
laptop - the desktop has 2003Professional on it (including publisher) and my
laptop has the older version that did not include publisher (rats!). So I
need to figure the most affordable path to getting the laptop up to snuff. I
can still use the university bookstore and perhaps can purchase an upgrade on
my educational XP version to the 2003 professional version? Thank you - and
any additional insite you may provide would be very helpful.

You could look for a Student License version of Office 2003 SBE or
Office 2003 Professional. That is the type where you don't get any
software in the box; you have to fill out the forms and send it back
before Microsoft will release software to you. Do NOT get the Student
Teacher Edition - where the software IS in the box - as it is a
stripped-down version of the Standard edition, and so does not include
Publisher.

Read through the EULA for your copy of Office 2003. If it is not an OEM
copy (preinstalled on the desktop), this won't apply to you, but
otherwise you may be licensed to install Office on both machines,
provided the laptop is used exclusively by you and is not used
concurrently with the desktop.

Alternatively, you could buy Publisher as a standalone product, although
I'm not sure if that is available at a student discount.
