is publisher2002 usable with Office2003 basic edition?

I bought a new dell with office 2003 basic edition. i already had publisher
2003 with my old computer and xp operating system. now pictures don't show
up when i insert them into publisher documents. is this a compatability
problem or something else? can it be corrected?

Which version of Publisher do you have - 2002 or 2003?

Also, try updating your video drivers. And no, just because your computer is
new does not mean your drivers are current.
