Is there a normal.pub template?

Hi, I want to set the default page (margins, layout guides etc) and have it
stay the same whenever I open it. In my older Publisher it was a page named
normal.pub. Is there a way to set up and keep a default page as a template?
I have Publisher 2002
Thanks
Catt

Publisher takes its default page size from the printer driver default in
Windows.

Default Layout Guides can be set using the Default Layout Guides add-in.
Available here:

(new site coming soon hopefully)

normal.pub can be used to hold style information. Publisher takes the
stylesheet from it and uses that in all new blank publications. It doesn't
behave like normal.dot in Word, though, as no macro information is taken
from it, and no objects are taken from it.

Can you send it to me or put it on your web page? I had an occasion to need it
the other day, I scoured Brian's blog entries but couldn't find it. I thought I
had it on my computer, but when I did the new computer thing I must have lost it
somehow.
As an aside will it work in the Spanish version?

I'll put it up on the add-ins page for now - I plan on upgrading the site in
the very near future, so I don't want to do too much work on it.

Should do. I'm not quite sure how it works (as I don't have the source code
and didn't write it) so I can't make any guarantees.

Thanks, I went to and dloaded the dll file but when I go to the folder in
Windows Explorer it won't show the dll file even though I have "view all
hidden files and folders " checked off in the view menu. Can you tell me why
it won't show? Tried it several times.
Thanks
Catt

The DLL file is packed in a ZIP file - did you extract the file from the
ZIP?
