Is there a way to specify a pantone or hex color in MS Word?

Other than embedding an image in MS Word, is there a way to define your color
selection by a pantone or hexadec number? Or at least a CMYK value, instead
of just RGB?

All colors in Word will be RGB. You can get RGB equivalents of CMYK or
Pantone colors at various Web sites, but those are at best an approximation.
