Is there a Wizard in Project 2000 that reviews the schedule

I was told that someone ran a "wizard" that pointed out discrepancies in a
schedule, things wrong with predecessors, successors, incorrect relationships
(FS, SS, FF) etc. Is there such a review or software in MS Project 2000?

Hi,

Not that I know of; in fact, all you enter and that is not refused by the
software (such as circular relationships) may well reflect your project's
reality - there are so many different kinds of projects!
It is trus that once I write such a "checker" for a customer but that was
based on criteria depending on the customer's use of the software.

Dale, have you used the Auditor to identify x-project circular
relationships? I've written to the company but don't expect a quick answer.

No, but I saw a demo of the tool at an MPUG meeting several years ago. Why
don't you simply pick up the phone and call these folks and ask them your
questions?
