Issue with Portfolio Analyzer and Graphs

J

Joe Slaga

I am having some troubles creating my Portfolio Analyzer
views. Currently, I have ten projects in the database and
I would like to generate a graph that will show the
Baseline Work vs Actual Work for each project. My OLAP
cube is available and I am able to drag the data items
(Actual Work, Baseline Work, Work) to the pivot table,
but I am unable to select the categories (Possibly the
project name) and drop them on the graph.
I have the following questions:
1: I am assuming that the OLAP cube when created will
always have categories and those could be Project Name,
etc. Is this true.
2: Are all the items on the graph and pivot table toolbar
excluding the ( ! Refresh) option suppose to be grayed.
If not, why? My Laptop is running Windows XP with MS
Office XP Standard.

Have you installed the Office Web components piece? You
need to have that installed to create Analyzer Views.
