About linked tables...
I've got an Access 97 mdb linking to another Access 97 mdb
on another pc on the network. The connection path in the
linked table manager is:
\\pcname1\MTX-W\TDRWD.mdb
It links to the table without a problem, but the trouble
is that the path does not exist! TDRWD.mdb is actually at:
\\pcname1\WST\TDRWD.mdb
MTX-W does not even exist, so how does it find TDRWD.mdb?
It works, but this worries me, because I obviously don't
understand everything about linking tables over a
network. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help.
