JPG images not attached

John

I thought I'd posted this before, but cannot find the
post anywhere ...

If I send an MMS from my mobile phone to my email address
it should come through with one .TXT and one .JPG
attachment, as I have sent this to other users and this
is what they receive, which is the normal and correct
format.

The email I receive though in Outlook (2002 with latest
updates and running XP Pro) is a blank email. There is no
paper clip showing and no attachments. However what is
strange is this . if I click on 'forward', then the two
attachments become visible and are able to be opened.

I forwarded the email to myself. Again on receipt, the
email is blank with no paper clip or attachments apparent
at all. Again though, if I click on forward, to forward
the email, the two attachments then show in the
attachments box, ready for forwarding.

I forwarded the email to myself a third time, but added a
third attachment (a Word document). This time the email
was received with all 3 attachments showing without a
problem. So the adding of another attachment seemed to
get round the problem, but certainly indicates strange
behaviour.

I have tried this with Norton AntiVirus disabled and the
same odd result occurs. I also regularly receive other
emails with .JPG attachments with no problems.

I cannot think of any other setting which could cause
this strange behaviour and neither can my ISP's
technicians - we're all stumped.

Can you please assist me with a fix or confirming this as
a bug?
