Junk email

In Outlook 2002, Is there a way to automatically and
permanently delete junk email without deleting then
deleting from the delete folder?

Press and hold SHIFT while pressing or clicking delete.

Thank you. It works. Do you know if there a way to
permanently delete what goes to the junk mail folder w/o
having to actually click on it or highlight it?
