Keep Outlook express & Outlook contacts separate?

O

Oma Moose

I have both Outlook and Outlook Express (2000) on my computer. I use Outlook
exclusively, but opened Outlook Express for my family to use when they visit
my home.

When I opened Outlook Express for the first time, a copy of all my Outlook
contacts appeared in Outlook Express.

I want to keep my contacts private. How do I prevent the my Outlooks
contacts from appearing in Outlook Express.

Set the UseOutlook registry value here to a zero (0):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB\WAB4

Is there's a Tools menu > Options command in OE's address book on your
machine?

Sure. Just open the Address Book in Outlook Express and go to Tools >
Options...
Uncheck the option to share with Outlook there.

The word "registry" terifies me! Isn't there an easier way?
