Hello,
I've advanced from my last sitchuation. I have opend the Excel document of
Names and addressess succesfully onto a word document, and I have put it
through mail merge, but all 184 labels are all in one single row on the left..
.. how do i change that back to normal 2160 Avey standard format? Any ideas
would help trimendously!

The Avery 2160 label is exactly as you described it--a strip of labels.
Check the other Avery labels available to find one that suits your purpose
(e.g. Avery 5160, which is 3 across by 10 down, which is a frequently used
mailing label).

Well, SVC i figured it out- and it turns out that I just had the dimensions
wrong, and that the formatt was set to only 1 row of labels. So thanks for
the advice anyway.
