Large unsent messages

Unsent messages too large to send still in Outbox. How do we delete them from
the Outbox, delete does not work.

Using Office Professional 2003.

Try starting outlook in "safe mode" and deleting them. To start outlook in
safe mode, go to start, run, & type outlook/safe.

Open the email in your Outbox and then close it without hitting the Send
button. Then try to delete it. If that doesn't work, open Outlook in safe
mode:

Start > Run > outlook.exe /safe <enter> (please make sure you type it
exactly as you see it here; a space after .exe and before /safe)

Once Outlook is open, delete the items from your Outbox.

Click File and check Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook. Delete the
messages. Click FIle and uncheck Work Offline.
