Last line of envelope address cut off

I use Microsoft Word 2002 SP2 and Epson 880 printer with
Windows XP 5.1 SP1. When I use the Envelopes and Labels
feature of the Word Normal template, the bottom edge of
the last line of my envelope address is cut off. This
happens whether I type a four-line or a three-line
address. The correct (#10) envelope is selected and the
envelope feed is configured correctly. I suspect that
somewhere the template is set for a .5" bottom margin,
whereas my printer requires a .55" bottom margin, but I
can't find where to fix it. Can you help? This is my
first posting and I don't know if I am supposed to enter
my real e-mail addreses or not, but if anyone wants to

Hi, John,

The Envelopes feature enters the address in a paragraph style named
Envelope Address. That style includes a frame, which by default is
positioned at the envelope's bottom margin and is exactly 1.38 inches
high.

To adjust the position of the address on the envelope, you have to
modify the style. The best modification is to increase the height of
the frame, so the first line of the address is higher on the paper.

Here are the steps for Word 2002:

1. Click Format > Styles and Formatting, which opens the Formatting
task pane.
2. Make sure the Show box at the bottom of the pane says "All styles".
3. Hover the mouse over the Envelope Address style name until the down
arrow appears on it, click the arrow, and select Modify.
4. In the Modify Style dialog, check the box for "Add to template".
Then click the Format button at the bottom left, and select Frame from
the popup menu.
5. In the Size area of the Frame dialog, change the Height measurement
to a larger value, somewhere between 1.75" and 2".
6. Click OK in the Frame dialog, and OK in the Modify Style box.

Just a bit of advice: don't type your real email address in the
newsgroups at all, anywhere, unless you have a really good spam
filter. If you're lucky, it'll take the spambots a while to find it at
the bottom of the post instead of the From line, but they *will* find
it. (I know, I'm a fine one to talk, since I post my real email about
a zillion times a day... but you should see what my email filter
throws away.)
