Launch a Word Template From the Web

Does anyone know how to code a web page so that I can launch a Word template?
Currently if I just put the executable with the template name it opens Word
and the actual template. I need the action to be like the File, New and have
a new document based on the template, not open the template itself.

Any help would be appreciated.

Put the /t switch before the template name, with no space between them, like
"C:\Program Files\...\winword.exe" /t"C:\...\mytemplate.dot"
(replace the ... as appropriate). That switch means to start with a new
document based on the named template. See

Okay this idea appears to work. However, How do I get the AutoNew module to
kick off? The Autonew should kick off a form.
