When I click to launch Excel, Word, etc. from my employee
website in preview mode, a dialogue box pops up asking
whether to open, save, etc. The more info screen shows
the following: The Always ask before opening this type
of file check box is not available for some file types,
such as files with the extensions .exe or .com, which run
programs or commands. When this check box is not
available, you will always be asked before opening this
type of file.
Is there any way to turn this off so my users can launch
these apps without having to go through the extra "open"
step to get the program to launch? Thanks in advance.
