In a new DB model, the relationship componet still with dots on line
patterns instead a 'normal' line. Where I change this set?

Sorry for the fool question, but I'm new in MS Visio.

Max,

I'm assuming that you're showing Crow's feet and your relationship is non-identifying. By changing either of these two, you will affect
the appearance of the line pattern.

You can change your Crow's feet appearance by performing the following steps:
1. Select "Database" on the main menu and choose "Options > Document..."
2. Click on the Relationship tab.
3. Check or uncheck the "Crow's feet" option.

You can change the relationship type by the following:
1. Double-click on the relationship shape.
2. Click on "Miscellaneous" in the Database Properties tool window.
3. Under the "Relationship type" heading, choose between "Identifying" or "Non-identifying."

The line pattern on the relationship shape is guarded - in other words, it is not intended to be modified by the user. However, you can
override this by doing the following:
1. Select the relationship shape whose line pattern you want to modify.
2. Select Window on the main menu and choose "Show ShapeSheet" to open the shape sheet for the relationship.
3. Find the "Line Format" section. If you don't see it, right click somewhere in the shape sheet and choose View Sections, click on the
All button, and click OK.
4. In the LinePattern cell, replace the formula with 1. Once you replace the formula, the relationship shape's line pattern will no longer
change when the Crow's feet option and the relationship type changes. However, you can always delete the relationship shape and
add a new one.
5. Close the shape sheet.
6. With your relationship shape selected, select "Format" on the main menu and choose "Line...".
7. Choose a different line pattern and click OK.

Hope this helps!
