Ldap queries to Exch2003

We migrated Exc 5.5 to Windows 2003 (AD) and no none of our POP3 users have access to the LDAP directories on the server. We verified that LDAP services work well within Active directory but our Outlook clients are not seeing anything when querying the LDAP Services. Is there anything different that needs to be set-up on Outllok clients?
