leave copy on the server setting changes

Hi,

Outlook XP. Direct connection to ISP pop3 mail server, no Exchange server.
Leave email copy of the message on the server option is set on but after few
days it's again unselected.
(and remove after 5 days or something)
Is there any known other applications or setting which might remove this
selection?

I tested that setting is still "on" after first restart of the PC but is set
to "off" again occasionally in a few days.
Second E-mail account I have, doesn't suffer of this problem and is
constantly on.
