Left & Right Pages

I am using Publisher 2003. Here's my question - I apologize if it's really
wordy, but I tried the best I could to make it clear!

I am creating a booklet using the 2-page spread. I have used a Master to
create the left and right sides - the left side has the page number and title
left-justified at the top - the right side as the page number and title
right-justified at the top.

This 36-page booklet is just a template. I have a text box at the top of
each page next to the number. The left-side is left-justified and the
right-side is right-justified. I will be using this booklet and creating 250
different ones - each booklet has different information on some of the pages.
Also, each booklet will not be exactly 36 pages. I will be deleting pages
throughout it.

For these booklets, when I delete a page, it messes up my left and
right-justification text box at the top because it moves the page over. Is
there a way to keep this from happening?

I have tried putting the text box on the Master slides; however, I am then
unable to type in the text on each page (the text will be different on each
page).

I'm open to any suggestions! Thanks so much!

Publisher booklets are based on four pages. Anytime you delete a page you are left
with an odd page and this is the reason for the shift.
Perhaps you could insert a text box to cover the page with text such as "This page
intentionally left blank." Fill it with white. You see that a lot in manuals.
You have a large project, you would be better served using more than one template.
Are you taking this project to a commercial printer?

No, we're printing it in house. Because of the essence and purpose of the
booklets, having blank pages throughout it would not be a good thing. Thanks
though!
