Legends - Formating

I use custom legends that often run several columns. Is there any way to
right format the text and placing it adjacent to the bar or symbol? It seems
the default is to the left and the readers of my schedules often think it's
the text to the bar/symbol of the left, previous column because the text is
printed much closer to that bar or symbol.

Hi Irvine ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You can't justify the text in the legend :( However, in Bar Styles you can
insert spaces before the text which, although laborious, will achieve the
same thing.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Thanks, Mike. This accomplishes the same thing, just takes a bit of trail &
error, but since you only have to do it once, it certainly isn't a problem.
It certainly makes the legend easier to read and when you have a number of
people who have trouble reading any type of schedule, it's worth the time to
make it easier for them. Thanks again.
