I own a newer copy of MS Office that I use on my home computer; someday I
will own a laptop as well. Currently the licensing agreement says that I can
only and legally install MS Office on, one computer and a lap top.
On my computer at work, the company I work for has purchased an older
version of MS Office and may not upgrade for at least a few more years, if
there are good reasons for doing so.
I want to use my newer version at home, my laptop that I will have in the
future and at work. If I buy a retail copy of MS Office and want to use it
everywhere I go, I should be allowed too.
Microsoft, you have won. You will someday replace all the software
companies, for which you should fear the repercussions from them. Not the
people like me that do love MS Office and want to always use the latest MS
Office version wherever I go, whether it be work or play.
So please ease your pressure on the consumers like me.
