line dividers

I saved a number of word documents to Office 2003. I have used (*****) as a text divider. Office 2003 translates to a doted line all across the page. Not dots really, they are small squares. I cannot find how to delete them.

Have you tried Find & Replace from the Edit Menu?

The box "Replace With" can be left empty if you want to delete all your "dots".
