line feature unavailable

I use Pub. 2000 at work, purchased 2002 for home but
can't get the line/border style to highlight. I'm sure
it's something simple but what?

The line/border style will not highlight until you have an object selected. If you
want to put a border on your page before anything else, you will have to manually
create a rectangle, select it, all the editing features will be highlighted.
