Line spacing in Word 2007

Now that we all are having problems with connecting to the internet, next
subject is the line spacing in Word. It allows change to the most narrow at 1
inch, which essentially gives you a doublespace when printing. Any ideas,
I'll keep looking. Like the drop down toolbars.

Hi Jack,

On app specific questions you may want to use the newsgroups for that app. Are you referring to the new default line spacing of the
'Normal' style in Word 2007? If so go to the Quick Styles gallery and try out the other style sets for a more classic/Word 2003
styling.

One of the first things I did with the Beta was to change the "normal" style
to have true single-spacing with no extra space between paragraphs.

I like the new look and interface very much, but it seems the old conceptual
problems of Word persist--i.e., the program won't get out of my way and
instead anticipates too much what it thinks I want.

Changing the default style was easy enough, but I can already imagine
legions of users out there who will be frustrated from Document 1 on: "Why
does it keep adding spaces?"

And really--what is up with 1.15 line spacing? Ugh.
