Line up of columns from an Excel merge into word 2002

I am having difficulty keeping the alignment of a column in my merge from
excel into Word 2002. The first page is ok. It displays $0 in this
particular column. My next letter has $156 in the same column and it moves
one tab to the left? Once another $0 shows up it is ok, but then it moves
again when another amount shows up?

Any help or thoughts??

I would suggest that you arrange the mergefields in the cells of a table.
