Link bar based on navigation structure

Is there a way to make each page have a different method
of selecting the navigation structure? Specifically, can
I have one page use "same level" from the navigation
structure, while on another page I want "child level" to
provide the links on the Link Bar. I'm using Front Page
2003. Thanks.

I seem to be narrowing it down to it being part of the
shared border. So a solution might be to not use the
automatic FP navigation button, and put what I want into
the body?

You can have more than one link bar on your site. Each
can have its own properties as far as how to display its
navigation structure.

But I seem to be having the trouble of the link bar
having the same properties (using child level vs. using
same level as its navigation source) when the link bar is
in the shared border. When I change the link bar on one
page, that changes it on all pages. In other words, on
one page I want the 'child level' to be the navigation
source, but on other pages I want to have the 'same
level' be the navigation source. When the link bar is in
the shared border, it seems I cannot achieve this. I
will have to do this on each page, not using the shared
border. Am I correct in this?

Thanks for any help.

You will either have to abandon Shared Borders and put
each Link Bar on the pages you want OR put the second
link bar in another of the Shared Borders.
