Link tasks/milestones that must occur not more than 9 months apart

I have two milestones:

1. the lease commencement date
2. the works commencement date

The works commencement date must be not more than 9 months after the lease
commencement date.

Even though the lease commencement date has already happened (4 August 2006)
I want Project to calculate the works commencement date rather than manually
entering it.

Can someone please advise on how to set up the appropriate relationship.

Hello Ben,
If the "Lease commencement date" is on the row #10, in the Predecessor
column, in front of the "Works commencement date" which is the successor,
enter the relationship: 10FS+9month.
Nb : This relationship, as all the Project relationships, says that the
successor can't start *before* a lag time of 9 months after the predecessor.
That's not really your "must be not more than 9 months" condition.
