I have a programme with a number of linked tasks as 'hammocks' to show a
specific view required by the client. The links update and work properly on
my machine and on any other machine where Project is loaded on the machine.
However my client uses project through a Citrix link, so Project is found on
the main server C: drive and the file with the programme is located on a
separate drive.
The error message reads "An error occured while reconnecting C: to
\\chcnt5\max
Microsoft Windows Network: The local device name is already in use. This
connection has not been restored."
If the automatic update is disabled and the update done manually by
accepting the prompt when the file is opened, the links seem to open and
update without problem.
Anyone have any thoughts please.
