Windows XP, Office XP.Can an Org Chart from one PowerPoint
presentation be linked to another one? When I try the
normal method of Copy/Paste Special the link button the
not available. Do you have any suggestions of getting
around this? Thanks in advance for any help. Jan

There are multiple way to do this Depending on what level of functionality
you want to keep:

1) Right click on the Org Chart and select 'Save as Picture...'
insert saved pict into new presentation
-- This keeps a non-updating layout and is not editable as an Org Chart

2) Select the slide with the Org Chart
copy the slide and insert into new presentation
-- This keeps a non-updating layout and is fully editable

3) In new presentation select
Insert | Slides from files... | browse for presentation with Org Chart
in it | select Org Chart slide | Insert | Close
-- This keeps a non-updating layout and is fully editable

4) Create a hyper link to the slide in the old presentation. Note that
after linking to the slide, you will have to use the Escape key to end that
presentation and resume the new one.
-- This links to the current updated layout and is fully editable.

One of those work?
