linking multiple cells at one time

L

Lee

Hello everyone!!!

I can't believe I'm still at work trying to figure this
one out.....whew!! oh well...

I know that Excel lets you link cells in different
workbooks and sheets...does anyone know how to link more
than 1 cell at a time?

Goodnight!

I think what Lee is trying to find out is how to do the following. (and I
have the same question) Spreadsheet A has 3 columns of 68 rows each.
Spreadsheet B has the same configuration. I want Spreadsheet B's cells to
always match those of Spreadsheet A. Therefore, in cell B2, I typed this
formula: =IF([Book2]Sheet1!$B$2>0,[Book2]Sheet1!$B$2,"") This works fine,
but it is very tedious to have to do this for each cell. I want to know if
there is a faster way. I tried copying that cell and pasting to all of the
other ones in that column, but it just pastes the formula exactly. It
doesn't change the cell number in the formula.

The $ signs before the row&column references make the cell reference
absolute. (It does not change when the formula is copied). To resolve this
issue, remove the $ signs from the formula and copy.

Hi
not really sure what you're trying to do. Can you give an example?
