I have a form with two subforms. There is no problem linking them to the main
form. One of the subforms has a nested subform. I established a link in the
same way but the autonumber in the nested form does not automatically enter
in the subform above it the way the autonumbers in that subform and the other
one do in the main form.
I also have a problem with the record selectors, by which I mean the record
number at the bottom of the form that moves through the records as you make
choices. I cannot make the record selectors for the one subform and the
nested subform disappear. My understanding is this can be done in the form
selector properties window, in which I put "no" in both cases, but they still
appear in Form View and get in the way, not to mention they are confusing
because no matter what window of data I am looking at, which as properly
indicated n the main form record selecter, these two always say "record 1 of
1," although the controls move through the data properly (assuming I have
manually entered the linking number which otherwise would not automatically
enter itself in one of the three cases as outlined above).
