linking ODBC crashes MS Access 2002

I am trying to link a MS SQL database to a MS Access User
Interface I'm creating, but the moment I choose ODBC data
source from "Get Extrenal Data">"Link Tables" MS Access
crashes. The Error I receive is:
"The instruction at "0x30b05ae9" referenced memory
at "0x000000000". The memory could not be "read"."

Please Help, I need to link to the SQL database urgently.
