Linking Pervasive table with Access

I am trying to link Pervasive tables (2000i engine) with
MSAccess 2002 in Windows XP using ODBC. ODBC setup is
completed properly. When I try to complete a link, I get
what appears to be an MSAccess error #116. The ODBC link
works fine with Win98. I only get the error when working
with XP.MS knowledge base does not have anything on this
error. Any help would be appreciated.
