Linking to sections within a master project files

I have a master project file with 10 sub-projects pulled in. I would like to
set-up a shortcut to quickly get to any given sub-project. Is there a way to
do this? I tried to use a hyperlink, but this did not seem to work since the
task ID repeats for every sub-project.
Thanks,
Jabir

When you open the Master Project, when you make changes/work with the
subprojects, you are actually working on the subprojects since they are
linked in. Yout don't have to go their quickly since you are already there.

Sorry I was not clear the first time around. I am trying to setup shortcuts
to allo wme to jump down to any given subproject without having to scroll
down and search for it. The shortcuts would ideally be icons in one of the
toolbars that let me jump to the project I want to look at.

Jabir,
Gee I hadn't thought of the hyperlink idea but you said it didn't work
anyway.

Rather than mess around with icons, why not simply collapse the master
project so only the summary lines of each subproject are visible. You
will basically have a 10 line master project (assuming the master has no
tasks of its own). It will be real easy to instantly select any
subproject which can then be expanded. By the way, after collapsing the
master save it, so the default master view is in collapsed form.

If the above approach is not adequate, there is a way you can set up 10
icons in the toolbar, one for each subproject, and have those icons not
only locate but also filter for any specific subproject, but it will
take some VBA to do it. Unless you are conversant in Project VBA, I
suggest you use the first approach.
