Linking Workbooks (complicated)

I have a major question. Before I get into that, I viewed your web sit
for the first time today and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! There was so muc
information I felt like a complete idiot. Well anyway, here is m
question:

I have two workbooks that I'd like to have linked based upon tw
variables. Yes I do know how to create IF statements, but the issu
is, I'd like to have the results on one workbook that contains data i
a list. There is a column for the balance owed. I'd like the balanc
to then be determined if its Paid in Full to go into the Comment
section, but put Paid IN Full in another workbook.

Also, Id like the have one date in one workbook transfer to anothe
column in another workbook but be able to copy the reference down (no
using the absolute reference). If you can help Id Marry you if
wasn't already married!
