Linking

I am using Office 97 (Excel) and Publisher 2002. I have a file in publisher linked to a excel spreadsheet. We recently upgraded to Office XP operating system and since then have not been able to use this link. To complicate matters, we are on a network. Only a portion of the linked file will show in Publisher. I go in and select the columns to use, copy and then use the paste special command in Publisher. Only 52 lines of 68 appear. Sometimes, the rows seem to disappear. There must be a reason for this or a solution. Please help!

Office XP is an Office suite, not an operating system. Did you upgrade to
Windows XP or Office XP, or both?

Publisher is NOT network friendly and all files MUST be stored on the local
hard drive.

Go to www.microsoft.com/data and download and install the MDAC Components.
