links in outlook

When I click a link in outlook 2007 it does not go the the link. It says
something like general failure. The system cannot find the specified file.
Is there a option command or something that must be set?

are you using IE? did you try resetting the web settings (IE's tools,
options) and running Help, office diagnostics in Outlook?
