list boxes

Is there a way for a list box to utilize data from a named
row? I can get it to work with data from a named column
of data, but not a row of data.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi
works for me (using 'Data - Validation') without a
problem. What is the exact problem you have

Hi,

Thanks for trying to help. When I create a list box
utilizing data in a row, it only returns the first data
cell into the pull down box. I have named the
data "weeds" and the name is defined as =Chemicals!
$U$9:$CQ$9. I changed the ListFillRange to the named
range "chemicals" (=Chemicals!$G$10:$G$431) and it pulls
the data in perfectly.

Am I just missing something very simple?

AFAIK, a list box will only work with a column, not a row, ie the data in
the list needs to be vertical,

Thank you,

That was one of the "Features" in Excel that I was afraid
of.
