Is there anyway that the list function can be used withing Excel other than
in a spreadsheet ?

Hi,

When you say list function do you mean the command Data, List? If so, where
would you want to use it? If not, do you mean a spreadsheet function such as
=SUM()? If it is this second one, there is no function called =LIST()
