listing files in numeric order

What is the best way to save documents with a number so that they can be
listed in nemeric order. I am in the process of converting all of our forms
(almost two hundred) to digital. I want them to be listed in numeric order
when the a user opens up the "Forms" file. I am having difficulty in doing
this. I want the forms to be listed as such:

GB-1
GB-2
GB-3
etc...
as opposed to:
GB-1
GB-100
GB-2
etc...

It's probably something very simple, can anyone out there enlighten me?

You have to name (or rename) the files so that all the numbers are three
digits, starting with zeros if needed. This way:

GB-001
GB-002
....
GB-009
GB-010
....
GB-099
GB-100
....

If renumbering like this is not practical, then select the list and table >
sort > paragraphs > as numbers > descending should put them in the correct
order.
