load xml file

Hi,

is there another way of loading xml data into a form than the way done
in the example delivered with Office 2003 (the CD example)? I read a
discussion here about this and the problems arising with certificates
and the regform tool. I don't have a trusted certificate either and I
have to import a xml data dump as soon as possible into a infopath form.

I'm not familiar with the example, but you can try this.

1) Make sure your xml format is stable: Changes to the structure once your
external xml is in IP take ex work (for example, data types may not be
modifieable in IP, so you'll have to use Tools/Convert Main Datasource ..
rinse/lather/repeat...

2) Create a new IP form from your xml document.

If yow want to distribute the file, you can create your own certificate if
you have VS2003/2005 installed with MakeCert.

Sign the form, and your're good to go (users will need to accept your cert).
