Local failures

I'm concerned that Outlook isn't configured properly because a folder named
'local failures' recently appeared under 'synch issues'. The folder contains
a multitude of older e-mail filed purposefully in personal folders. It is
imperative that I not lose the messages. How can I resolve the problem
without losing the messages?
