Locating and running a file

Hi gurus,

2 questions.

1.- I have a textbox with a file location, eg: C:\mydocuments\accounts.xls,
I want to create a command bottom to click it and check if the file exist.

2.- I have another text box with a word file location, I want to create a
command bottom to click it and run the word document.

1. To check if a file exists use the FileExist function found at

2. To open any file simply use the FollowHyperlink method.

Application.FollowHyperlink "C:\fullpath\filename.ext"
or
Application.FollowHyperlink Me.TextboxName
