Is there way to lock down an access database so someone can't edit it. I
know you can't add it to the workgroup security option, however they can just
change the workgroup or move the file to another computer. Can you somehow
imbed the security in the database so someone can't edit it or make the
changes.

If you think user level security can be defeated just by doing those things
then you have never seen a file that was secured properly. Most people do
it incorrectly and it ends up just as you describe, but that is certainly
not how it works when you do it right.

Can you give me some suggestions....how to do this. I understand Windows
security. However, this access file will be on someone else's PC and they
will have admin privs. How do I lock it down.

Follow the steps in the security FAQ. There's a link to it on my web site.
