locking images in text

Opsimath

I am working on a two column catalog with various images. When I
change an image space, all the text snakes to fill the columns but the
other images stay exactly where they were in the document. That means
that the images are now with unrelated text and I need to go through
the entire document moving each image to its proper place.

Is there a way to stick an image to a sentence or paragraph so it will
move with the text when other parts are edited?
Thank you.

Are you using a catalog merge? It is a better way. At the end of the merge you
can create a new publication.

You can place images inline, it isn't as satisfying as Word. Draw your text box,
place the image inside/partially inside the text box, right-click, format
picture (object), Layout tab, Object Position, Inline. There are other
adjustments on this screen you can experiment with.

=============================
Try grouping them together...

Left click / drag a box around the textbox and
picture...the Group icon should appear near
the edge of the box...left click it to lock it.

(You can also select a assortment of objects
by holding your Ctrl key while left clicking them)

Now you should be able to move the text and
picture as a single unit.
