How to link text and image files together

Hello Everyone,

I need help with Microsoft Word 2011 for Mac. Whenever I drag image files from
my desktop to the bottom of a Word document that has a paragraph of writing, the
image files seem to slip down to another page below that or they overlap each
other when I press the return or delete keys to position the writing and images
on the document. I simply want the image files to move with the text when I
press return or delete ( moving either up or down). I know how to group image
files and have done that for more than one image file. I have tried the
following but without any success:

Click on the selected image file > Format Pictures > Arrange > Position > More
Layout Options > Advance Layout > Position > Options > Move Object with text.

To reiterate, I want the image files or file to move with the text and do not
know how to lock a written paragraph with image files so that they move together
without the image files slipping down to another page or becoming scattered over
the document. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

JD.

Click on the selected image file > Format Pictures > Arrange > Position > More
Layout Options > Advance Layout > Position > Options > Move Object with text.

That's weird; I don't even see an "Arrange" tab in the Format Picture
window, and I have Word 2011 for Mac also. I do have "Advanced...",
which has your final option but without the intermediate steps.

Have you tried Layout > In line with text, which is at the top level of
the options for formatting pictures?

To reiterate, I want the image files or file to move with the text and do not
know how to lock a written paragraph with image files so that they move together
