Again in IE (not FP)
Have you selected Clear Passwords in Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete
- even though you apparently do not have it set to save passwords
And set your Tools > Internet Options > Security > Internet > Custom Level to Prompt for User Name and password
Also, if on a domain, check Control Panel > User Accounts > Advanced > Manage Passwords

| Thanks for the reply
| As per the other post's in thread
|
| I have auto complete disabled
| FP is set to have me always enter user name & passwords, I never check the
| Automatic.
| (The main reason for this is that I have multiple accounts and different
| ISP's, I have found it an issue in the past so I re-enter the information
| each time)
| I even deleted the old .pwl file just in case
| I have disabled all IE proxy and security zones
| I have tried it with all above and as well disabled my Zone Alarm Pro
| (seldom an issue but you never know)
| The issue is that I mistyped the password to my site - totally my fault but
| some were the "bad" information is retained in a file
|
| I am very IT comfortable but I do not deal with FP on a regular basis mostly
| database (Access - Oracle)
