When opening a database, I get a login dialog which already shows my userid.
No password is required. How can I get rid of this login screen???

It depends. Do you use a desktop shortcut to start the mdb? Is the database
secured? If you're not sure do the following:

Start, search and find all *.mdw files on your computer. Rename every one
that you find (don't delete them).

Open Access, and then open your mdb. If you succeed and you are able to
open/modify every object in the mdb, then it isn't secure.

If you get any permission error messages, then post back; your mdb is
secured.
