Cannot login to Office Account to sync OneNote notes among my devices

Hello

I cannot login to my Office account from any Office (2016) programs! When I try to sign in by clicking on my name, I get a message "We are unable to connect right now. Please check your network and try it again later". But I can login to my Office account from any web browser on the same computer without any problem. I cannot login only from within Office programs! Since I cannot sync any document created within OneNote therefore I cannot share them among my devices through OneDrive. Any ideas.?

It was the VPN dummy! After switching it off, I can login from any Office program to my Office account. Strange but true.
